Strong Basics Institute

You can find Strong Basics Institute at Sco No 40, right at the Main Chowk on Lawrence Road. This is a pretty well-known part of Amritsar, specifically in the New Garden Colony area. Since we are at the main chowk, there is always something happening outside. It’s a very central location which makes it handy for anyone coming from different parts of the city. We have been here for a while, and the 143001 area is quite familiar to us. The institute itself is set up to be practical. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just rooms with tables and chairs where the learning happens. Amritsar weather can be a bit extreme, very hot or very cold, so we do our best with the fans and heaters. The traffic at the chowk can be loud sometimes, but you get used to the sounds of the horns and the people. We just focus on the basics here, like the name says. Most of the people who come to us are from the local neighborhoods. We know many of the shopkeepers around Lawrence Road too. It’s a nice community to be part of. We open the doors early and usually stay until the evening classes are finished. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a regular place where people come to study and get their work done. We have been at this corner for many years and plan to stay.
