Kanika Tuition Centre

Kanika Tuition Centre is tucked away at A 388 in the Ranjit Avenue area of Amritsar. If you know this part of the city, you know it's a mix of houses and small offices. We are right there in the middle of it. The street is usually lined with scooters and cars since it's a residential block but lots of people are always moving around. Our space isn't huge, just enough for some tables and the local kids who come by after their regular school hours. The address is 143001, so we are pretty central to most things. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate of the avenue but most people find it okay. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks when the students arrive, which is just how things go around here. We don’t have a big fancy sign out front, just the usual name so people don't get lost looking for the house number. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have fans running all the time. The rooms are basic and we don't spend much time on fluff. It’s just a place where teaching happens every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but A 388 stays the same. It feels like a normal home turned into a workspace, which keeps things feeling relaxed and local for everyone who drops in.
