Siv Hitech is located at 393 Focal Point in Amritsar. Being in the Focal Point means we are surrounded by all sorts of industries and warehouses. It is an active area of the city with a lot of movement. Our building is a simple structure that houses our technical operations. We have a lot of space for our equipment, which is necessary for the kind of hitech work we do every day. The air in Amritsar can be quite dusty, especially in this industrial zone, so we spend a fair amount of time keeping the office clean. Inside, it is a mix of different sounds, mostly keyboards and the hum of machines. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call or visit, you will probably just talk to whoever is closest to the door. We spend our hours focused on the technical details and making sure everything is running as it should. Lunch is often something picked up from one of the local dhabas nearby, which is one of the perks of being in Amritsar. The work is not always easy, and some days feel longer than others when something is not working right. But we just stick with it until the problem is solved. It is a practical, no-nonsense environment where we value getting the job done over looking impressive to outsiders. We just keep our tools ready and get on with it.
