Shield Machine Tools

Our shop is located right on the G T Road at Plot No. B-56 in the Maqbool Pura area. Being so close to the Bank of Baroda makes it pretty easy for people to find us, which is helpful because the traffic on the main road is always moving fast and it’s easy to miss a turn. Inside the building, it is mostly the constant sound of machines and that specific smell of cooling oil and metal. We have been in this same spot for quite many years. It is a busy location, so there is always some kind of noise or activity happening right outside our door. Sometimes we just stand near the entrance to catch a breeze and watch the trucks go by when things aren't too busy inside. The workshop floor is where we spend almost all our time. We have our tools set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks like a bit of a mess to anyone just visiting. It is a greasy job, and most of us end the day with dirty hands and feeling pretty tired. We don’t spend much time sitting at computers unless we absolutely have to for an invoice. Most of the guys here have been working with these machine tools for a long time, so they can tell if a motor is struggling just by the sound it makes. We just handle the work day by day, making sure the parts are cut right and the orders are ready on time. It is a simple setup for us.
