Rajkot Electric Corpo

You’ll find Rajkot Electric Corpo over on Sidiwali Street, which is just off G.K. Road. It’s one of those narrow streets where there’s always something going on, usually someone unloading a truck or a group of people chatting in the middle of the road. Our shop is packed tight with electrical supplies. We have shelves full of switches, rows of wire spools, and boxes of light fixtures that we haven’t opened in months. It’s a bit of a mess, but if someone asks for a specific fuse or a certain gauge of wire, we usually know which pile it’s in. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age. The wooden counter where we serve customers is worn smooth from years of use. We don't have a website or a computer system for our stock; we just use a big ledger book and our memory. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for a local place like ours. The ceiling fan is old and makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the air moving. Most of our day is spent helping people find parts for their home repairs or for bigger electrical jobs. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by just to say hello. It’s a basic, functional shop, and we’re happy to keep it that way. We just keep our heads down and serve the locals.
