R.K. Machine Tools Industry

We set up shop at No. 82 in East Mohan Nagar, right in the heart of the Industrial Estate. It’s a good location for what we do because all the suppliers are right around the corner. We mostly work on machine tools, making sure everything is aligned and working how it should. The shop floor is pretty big, which is lucky because some of the machines we work on take up a lot of space. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started. There used to be more empty lots, but now every unit is full. The noise of the industrial estate is something you just get used to after a week. We have a small crew of guys who know their way around a metal press. It’s dusty and noisy, but that is just the nature of the industry. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. Most people just find us through word of mouth or by walking through the estate looking for help with their machinery. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long shifts. Every once in a while, a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole night fixing it so we don't fall behind. It’s a straightforward life, just making tools and keeping the machines running. We keep a small fridge in the corner for cold water in the summer because the heat gets intense in this industrial park. It’s just part of the job.
