You can find us at Anaj Bazar in Itwari. The business is officially under the name Kadangopal Kisanlal Bhaiya, but everyone around here knows us as Ramdeobaba Foods. Being in the middle of a grain market means there’s never a dull moment. It’s a very busy, dusty, and loud place to work, but it’s where all the action is. We deal with various food products, mostly grains and pulses that come in from the farms. The shop is old and it’s filled with sacks of goods piled high to the ceiling. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a place for trading and hard work. We spend our time talking to other traders and checking the quality of the stock. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, based on handshakes and knowing the people you deal with. We don't have any marketing experts or a social media presence. We’ve been in Itwari for so long that our reputation is built on just being here every day. It can be exhausting when the market is at its peak, but we’re used to the pace. We aren't trying to change the industry. We just want to keep the family business going and make sure we’re providing what our customers need. It’s a simple life centered around the cycles of the market and the food we sell to the community.
