R. S. Exports

R. S. Exports is situated right opposite the railway station on Tarn Taran Road. We are also quite near the Sangrana Sahib, which is a big landmark around here. The post office is in Gil Wali, and we spend a lot of time going back and forth there. Being right by the station means we always hear the trains coming in and the whistles blowing. It can be a bit loud when you’re trying to talk, but you stop noticing it after a while. The road outside is usually full of rickshaws and people rushing to catch their trains. Our building is a solid old place that has seen a lot of years. We have a big storage area because we need the space for all the exports we handle. The office part is just a small section in the front. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been here since we started. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone coming in to ask for directions to the station or the gurudwara. We don't mind, it’s part of being in such a central location. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but we keep the fans running and stay focused on the tasks. Most of our work involves a lot of shouting over the noise of the traffic and the trains to get things loaded up.
