Chawla Exporters

Down on Loharka Road, you’ll find us at Chawla Exporters. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and dust, especially when the wind picks up. We’ve been here quite a while, and the building has seen a lot of activity over the years. We mostly handle things that are being sent abroad. The work isn't always clean; there’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around the warehouse floor. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. The Chawla name is on the door, but it’s really a team effort with everyone pitching in. We don't have a big human resources department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just sort it out right there on the spot. Loharka Road can be a nightmare for traffic in the evenings, so we try to get our big shipments out early in the morning. The office is small and tucked away in the corner of the lot. It’s filled with ledgers and old calendars. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we’re a steady bunch. People know they can find us here from dawn until after dark. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather spend it on better equipment for moving the heavy crates.
