Naresh Cold Drinks

Naresh Cold Drinks is my shop on Attari Road in Chheharta. We are located right opposite the Police Station and the Mandir, so it’s a very safe and busy spot in Amritsar 143105. Most people stop here when they are traveling along the road or coming from the temple. It gets very hot in the summer, so we sell a lot of cold bottles and snacks. The refrigerators are always running loud in the back. It’s not a big place, just enough room for the coolers and a few shelves of biscuits and chips. I’ve been sitting at this counter for a long time. You see all sorts of people passing through on their way to the border or just local residents from Chheharta. The morning is usually quiet, but by afternoon when the sun is up, everyone wants something cold to drink. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit when they bring the crates, but we clear it fast. It’s a simple life running a drink stall. I know the policemen from across the street and the people who visit the mandir every day. We don’t have any fancy seating, people just grab their drink and stand outside for a bit. It’s a practical little shop for anyone feeling thirsty on Attari Road. We are just a regular part of the street here.
