Mahesh Cold Drinks

Mahesh Cold Drinks is sitting right on Railway Link Road, at shop number 55. We are quite close to the Rosh Hotel, which helps people find us easily. Amritsar gets very hot in the summer, so having a place with cold sodas and water is pretty important for the people walking by. We have a few big refrigerators that hum all day long to keep everything chilled. It is not just drinks though, we keep some snacks and small packets of things too. The shop is small and mostly taken up by the cooling units and crates of empty bottles. We spend a lot of time taking the empties back and bringing in the new stock. The Railway Link Road is always full of noise from the trains and the traffic, but we do not mind it much. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the drinks getting warm, but usually, things are fine. It is just a simple shop where you can grab something quick and keep moving. We do not have chairs or anything, it is mostly just over-the-counter service. My name is Mahesh and I am usually the one standing behind the glass. I have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the shop stays mostly the same. We open up early because the commuters start their day before the sun is even fully up and the road is already full.
