Kalsi Machinery Co. Ltd. Ltd. is based at 123, East Mohan Nagar. We are right in the middle of the industrial area. It’s a big space, but it fills up fast with the equipment we make. The name on our paperwork actually says Ltd. twice sometimes by mistake, but we are just one team. Being in an industrial area means there is always a truck backing up or someone hammering something nearby. We’ve got high ceilings and a lot of concrete. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually in work clothes and boots. The machinery we work on is heavy and takes a lot of effort to move around. We’ve been at this Mohan Nagar spot for years. The neighborhood has its own rhythm. You get used to the sounds of the factories. We have a small office tucked in the corner, but most of us stay on the shop floor. There’s a lot of grease and the smell of cut metal in the air. We don't do much advertising. People usually just find us because they know we are here. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, work on the machines, and go home. If you come to visit, watch your step because there are always pallets being moved. We just keep our heads down and get the machines ready for whoever ordered them.
