Operating out of Majith Mandi means our days are always loud and a bit chaotic. J.H.B Enterprises has been a part of this market for many years, and we are used to the grit of it. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors by their first names and see the same faces every single morning. We spend a lot of our time dealing with heavy sacks and checking over the items that come in on the trucks. It is dusty and crowded, but that is just how a mandi works. We do not have a polished office or any corporate bells and whistles. Our space is strictly for work. Sometimes we sit on wooden stools drinking tea while we wait for a delivery to arrive, and other times we are rushing around trying to get orders sorted. The air here always smells like a mix of earth and different trade goods. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from talking to the suppliers to making sure everything is ready for whoever is picking it up. It is not a glamorous way to make a living, but it is honest and it keeps us busy. The lanes are narrow and can be hard to navigate with all the carts, but you get used to it after a while. We do not need a big sign because people know where to find us in the middle of the market.
