Heaven Tea

Heaven Tea is our little spot over at 84, Vikas Nagar. We are right near the Post Office and the Rayon and Silk Mills in Chhehata. It is not a very big place, just a simple room where we keep the tea bags and some crates. Most of our days start quite early before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space. The mill workers walk past the door every single morning and evening. Some of them stop in to say hello. It gets pretty dusty out on the street when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning the counters. My brother helps me with the heavy lifting and the weighing. We don't have fancy machines, just an old scale that still works fine. The floor is made of old concrete and it stays nice and cool even during the summer months. Sometimes the mailman comes in for a quick chat while he is making his rounds at the post office next door. We just do our thing here every day. It is not a corporate office or anything like that. We just focus on getting the tea ready for whoever needs it. Sometimes the shipments are a bit late and we just have to sit on the porch and wait. Life moves at a slow pace in this part of Chhehata. We have gotten used to the noise from the mills nearby. It is just home to us.
