Harman Machine Tools

Our shop, Harman Machine Tools, is over at Plot No.67 in Dashmesh Avenue. It's right in Janta Nagar, which most people around here know is just opposite the Amritsar Public School. Sometimes the noise from the school kids during recess carries over to the shop, but it's okay. We spend most of our days working with the gear and tools. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is starting their shifts. The place isn't anything fancy, just a solid spot where we get things done. I've lived in this part of Amritsar for a long time, and Janta Nagar has changed quite a bit over the years. We keep the shop open pretty late most days because there is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be sorted out for a customer. The address is easy to find if you are looking for the school. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just stop by because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We have our coffee in the morning and then get straight to the machines. It’s dusty work and can be loud, but it is what it is. We try to keep the floor somewhat organized, though it usually ends up messy by noon. That's just how a machine tool place works I guess.
