Gobind Academia

Our place, Gobind Academia, is right on the main G T Road in Chheharta. It’s a busy spot in Amritsar and the traffic never really stops. We are at D 17/68, and you can find us pretty easily if you are near the OCM area. The noise from the road is something we just got used to over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just books and rows of desks where the students sit. It’s not a very big space, but it works for what we do every day. We spend our mornings getting everything ready and the evenings are usually the busiest when everyone shows up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but for now, they are fine. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just a simple door that stays open most of the day. It’s an honest way to spend the time, teaching and helping out where we can. Living and working in Amritsar means dealing with the heat and the crowds, but it’s home for us. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the fans are working so nobody gets too hot. It’s a very local operation and we like it that way. Most people who come here live nearby or take the bus along the G T Road. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood here in Chheharta.
