K. K. Engineering Kuthali Works

K. K. Engineering Kuthali Works is located over by Gali Kartar Palace. We are right near the railway crossing on Dhapai Road. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains going by all day long, and the whole place shakes a little when the heavy freight ones pass. It is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our shop is where we do all our engineering and kuthali work. It is a bit of an old-school setup. We have heavy benches and tools that have been around for a long time. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and oil stains. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the workshop and look around. The gate at the railway crossing often stays down for a long time, so things can get backed up outside our door. We spend a lot of time working on individual pieces for local customers. It is hands-on work that leaves you with tired arms at the end of the shift. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do a decent job on the projects we take on. The lighting is a bit dim in some spots, but we have our torches for the detailed bits. It is just a regular engineering shop doing its thing near the tracks every day.
