Fersher

We are based out in Village Dyal Bharang, which is under the Chamyari post office in the Ajnala tehsil. It’s a bit of a drive from Amritsar city, but we like being out here where there’s more space. Fersher is a local operation through and through. Life moves at a bit of a different pace in this part of the district. We’re surrounded by fields and the air feels a bit fresher than in the crowded markets. Our setup is simple. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with old magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably find us working in the back or maybe having tea if it’s a break time. We grew up around here, so we know most of the families in Dyal Bharang. It’s the kind of place where your word still matters more than a signed contract. We do our work without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of our location, so we have to be patient with the computers. We handle things as they come. It’s not a corporate lifestyle at all. We wear comfortable clothes and don’t worry about suits or ties. That wouldn’t make much sense in Ajnala anyway. We’re just local people running a local business. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the harvest season is on and everyone is busy, but we manage just fine. We have everything we need right here in this village to keep things running properly.
