Erawati Fabrics Private Limited is set up in Shop Number 2 of the Kapoor Market in Amritsar. We’re right across from the State office and near the Bank of India main branch at Town Hall. It’s a very central spot, right in the heart of the market area. This means there’s always a lot of noise and people walking by. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with all sorts of fabrics. People come in and out all day, some just looking and some looking for something very specific. We’ve been here in Kapoor Market for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze around here if you don’t know your way, but everyone knows the Town Hall area. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just us handling the customers and managing the stock. The shelves are piled high with different cloths and materials. Sometimes it’s hard to keep it all tidy, but we manage. We aren't about fancy slogans or big promises. We just sell fabric and try to be fair about it. Amritsar is a busy city, and being in a market like this means you have to be on your toes. We enjoy the hustle and bustle, even if it gets a bit much on some days. It’s just how we do business here. There is no magic to it, just keeping the shop open and helping people.
