Arora Overseas

Our business, Arora Overseas, is located on Lawrence Road. We are on the ground floor of the Nehru Shopping Complex, specifically in unit number 39. Lawrence Road is always buzzing with people and traffic. It’s one of those parts of town where there is always something happening. Being on the ground floor is really helpful for us because we don't have to worry about the elevators or hauling things up the stairs. We deal with trading and overseas items, so we often have boxes and shipments coming through. The Nehru Shopping Complex is an older building and it has a lot of character. It’s not a brand-new mall, but it’s a central spot that everyone knows. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have shelves for our stock and a small area where we handle all the paperwork. It gets a bit noisy with the cars and people outside on Lawrence Road, but we’ve been here so long that we don't even notice it anymore. Most of our customers find us because they’ve been coming to this complex for years. We don't really bother with advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We open the doors in the morning, handle our trades, and close up in the evening. It’s been our workspace for a long time and we are happy with the spot.
