Raniz Impex

Raniz Impex is over at Room No. 28 in the Ashok Shopping Complex on L.T. Road. It is a small place, mostly just a desk and some boxes, but we get things done from here. My cousin and I started this because we knew a few suppliers and thought we could make a living out of it. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or checking emails to see where shipments are. It gets pretty loud in the shopping complex during the day, so sometimes we have to step out to take calls. We handle imports and exports, mostly small parts and textiles depending on what people are looking for. There isn’t a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see me drinking tea while trying to fix the printer or sorting through some paperwork. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the neighbors know us. It is just a straightforward business where we try to keep things moving. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us doing the daily work. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to stay late to sort out the mess with the transport guys. L.T. Road is always busy, so getting here can be a bit of a hassle in the afternoons. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month. It's not glamorous, but it works for us.
