Anil Medicos

Anil Medicos is situated at Shop Number 65A, right across from the Sohan Singh Eye Hospital near Hall Bazar. It’s a busy area of Amritsar, and being near a hospital means we see people at all hours. We are a small medical store. We keep a variety of medicines, bandages, and basic health supplies. It’s not a large place, but we try to stock the things people ask for most. Dealing with health stuff is serious, so we try to be careful with the prescriptions people bring in. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific medicine, but we can usually order it if it’s not on the shelf. The shop is quite narrow, and we have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. I use a small ladder to get things from the top. It’s mostly just me or a family member working here. We aren't a big chain pharmacy. We know the doctors nearby and many of the regular patients who come for their monthly tablets. The traffic outside in the Hall Bazar area can be a nightmare, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter. We don't have any fancy marketing. We just open the shutters every morning and wait for the first customer. It’s a simple, steady life here. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks in with a prescription. Most days we are so busy we don't even have time for a proper tea break.
