Our office for Sri Gopikrishna I&P Ltd. is tucked away at H.No.1189/10 in Gali Dhobhia Wali. If you know Amritsar, you know that being inside Beri Gate means dealing with some pretty narrow streets and a lot of history. It is a lively area, and we have been part of it for a while. Our building isn’t anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our files and meet up to plan out our next steps. Working in the infrastructure and power sector in Punjab means there is always a lot of paperwork and talking to different people. Some days it feels like we spend more time on the phone or sitting in traffic than actually getting things built, but that is just how it works in this line of business. We are not the type of people to give you a long sales pitch. We just look at what needs to be done and try to figure out the best way to do it without making things too complicated. The guys in the office are local, so we talk about the same things everyone else does, like the price of electricity or how the local cricket team is doing. It is a small operation in the grand scheme of things, but we just keep our heads down and stay busy with the projects we have on our plate right now. We prefer staying local and keeping things simple for everyone.
