Tawakkal Tiles

We are located at the Perfect Dharam Kata Chowk, right on Walgaon Road in Paradise Colony. If you know that intersection, you have probably seen our sign for Tawakkal Tiles. We have been here for a while, and the shop is usually full of different samples and crates of tiles. People from all over the colony come in when they are fixing up their kitchens or bathrooms. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those ceramic and stone slabs around so people can see the patterns. We get a bit of everything—people who know exactly what they want and others who spend an hour looking at two different shades of white. We don't mind, though. It’s part of the job. The chowk is always noisy with traffic, and we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes we just sit out front and watch the cars go by when it’s slow. We aren't a big chain store; it’s more of a family-run feel here. We try to keep things simple. If we have it in stock, we tell you. If we don’t, we see when the next truck is coming. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. The floor of the shop is usually covered in a bit of dust from the tile cutters, but we think it shows we are actually working.
