Giriraj Marbles

Giriraj Marbles is situated on Anjan Singh Road in Dhamangaong, right near the railway area. You can often hear the trains passing by while we are working, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. The location is pretty convenient for getting materials in and out since the road is wide enough for the loaders. We are a small team here. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from unloading the trucks to showing the pieces to anyone who stops by. Dhamangaong is a quiet enough place, though the railway activity keeps things moving. Our setup on Anjan Singh Road is practical. We don't have many decorations or fancy lights. The stone sits out where everyone can see it. Sometimes the rain gets the slabs a bit dirty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning them off. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one where people can find what they need for their floors or counters. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the arrivals and making sure the piles are steady. It gets tiring, especially in the heat, but we like the work. If you are ever down by the railway tracks on Anjan Singh Road, you’ll likely see us moving things around. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing much. It’s just how we live and work in this town.
