Anand Marbles

Anand Marbles is located out on Plot No. A-30/2 in the MIDC area. We are right on the By Pass Road, which makes it easy for trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in town traffic. I started this place because I knew a bit about stone and there seemed to be a lot of building going on nearby. It is basically a big yard full of slabs. We have different types of marble sitting out there, mostly what people usually ask for when they are fixing up their floors. It’s a dusty job and the sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. You just walk around the yard and see the actual pieces of stone you are buying. I find that most people prefer seeing the whole slab anyway. We cut things to size when needed, though it takes a bit of time. My workers have been with me for a few years now and they know how to handle the heavy stuff. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the deliveries go out when we say they will. It’s a basic business. No frills. If you are driving down the By Pass Road, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special to look at, just a place to get your marble and go. We stay open most days except for holidays.
