Shukhmaya Food

You can find us, Shukhmaya Food, at Servey No. 103 in Mouza Sawangi. This is out in the Meghe Taluka part of the Amravati district. We are basically in the food business. It involves a lot of sorting, packing, and making sure everything is clean and ready to go. Being in a place like Sawangi means we are close to where a lot of the ingredients come from. We spend our days dealing with various grains or snacks depending on what's in demand. It’s a very hands-on job. There’s no sitting behind a desk for us most of the time. We’re usually on the floor checking the bags or talking to the delivery drivers. The weather in Amravati can be really hot, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don't have any big mission statements. We just want to put out food that people enjoy eating. It’s a simple goal but it keeps us busy enough. The people who work here are mostly from the nearby villages. We’re like a big family, even when we’re arguing about how to stack the crates. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We just make food and hope folks like it. It's how we make our living and we are proud of the work we do every day.
