Jai Durga Refreshment

Down here in Sai Nagar, specifically in the Mahaveer Nagar area, we run Jai Durga Refreshment. We are located quite close to Amba Manglam, which is a well-known landmark for anyone living in Amravati. Our shop is just a small unit where we serve snacks and drinks to anyone passing by. It’s the kind of place where you stop for ten minutes while you’re out running errands. We don't have a big seating area, just a few spots where you can stand or sit for a moment. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who we’ve known for years. We handle all the work ourselves, from making the tea to frying up the snacks in the afternoon. It gets quite hot in the summers, so we try to keep the drinks cold and the fans moving. The shop doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. We keep the counter clean and make sure we have enough supplies for the day. Sometimes we run out of things early if it’s a busy day, especially when there are events nearby. We don't really do any advertising, we just rely on the fact that we are right here on the corner. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep serving the people who walk through Sai Nagar and need a quick break.
