Sangeet Sandhya

Sangeet Sandhya is run out of Flat No 106 in the Keshar Flat building. We are located on Badnera Road in the Rajapeth area of Amravati. It is a busy stretch of road, especially being so close to Mantri Motor, which everyone around here uses as a landmark. Working out of a flat gives the whole thing a very home-grown feel. We usually have instruments or sound equipment sitting around the place. Since we focus on musical evenings and sangeet events, there is often someone practicing or a piece of music playing in the background. Rajapeth is a lively part of Amravati, and being on Badnera Road means we see a lot of the city’s daily life right from our doorstep. We don't have a shiny storefront on the ground floor; you have to come up to the flat to see us. It is a simple way of working that keeps things personal. Most of our planning happens around a small table with a lot of tea. We spend hours talking to families about what songs they want or how the stage should look. It is not a corporate environment at all. It is just a group of people who like music and events. Sometimes the noise from the main road gets a bit loud, but inside the flat, we just focus on the rehearsals and the schedule. It is a bit messy with cables, but we know where everything is.
