We are based on the second floor of the Apmas Apartment at Kalyan Nagar Sqr. It’s in Rukhmini Nagar, right near Chowdhari Hospital here in Amravati. Our space is usually cluttered with notebooks, fabric samples, and lists of vendors. Wedding planning is mostly about managing a lot of moving parts at the same time. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving around to look at different venues. It’s not as glamorous as it might look from the outside; there is a lot of heavy lifting and arguing over table placements involved. We’ve been doing this for some time and we know the local markets pretty well. We don't really have a corporate vibe. We’re just a group of people who know how to put an event together. Some days are spent entirely in the office typing up schedules, while other days we are out in the sun setting up stages or checking decorations. Amravati has its own way of doing things, and we’ve learned to work with that over the years. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon to describe our work. We just tell people what can be done and what can't. Sometimes the hospital traffic makes it hard to park, but we make it work somehow. It’s a busy life, but it keeps things interesting. We just focus on the details and try to make sure everything is in place before the guests finally arrive. It’s just how we do things.
