Remembrance Events

Our shop is tucked away in the Joshi Trust Market, Shop No. 3, on Amba Devi Road in Amravati. Being right near the Ambadevi Temple means there’s always a lot of activity and people walking by. At Remembrance Events, we spend most of our time surrounded by fabric samples, flower ideas, and sketches of stage setups. It’s a local business, so we know a lot of the people who walk through the door. We don't have a big corporate office; it's just a place where we sit down and try to plan out how a wedding or a local function should look. There’s a lot of running around involved. We have to coordinate with decorators, caterers, and the people who rent out the lights. Sometimes things don’t go as planned—a delivery is late or the weather turns bad—and we just have to fix it on the fly. It's a lot of hard work and being on your feet for hours. We keep our supplies organized as best as we can, but during the busy season, the shop gets a bit cluttered. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the events we handle go okay and people are satisfied with the results. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We take it one day at a time here in Amravati, making things happen in the middle of all the temple crowds.
