Emerald Fly Ash Bricks

Our shop is tucked inside the Shivaji Complex, specifically at Shop No. 316 and 317. Being on Bus Stand Road means there is always a lot of noise outside from the horns and the people rushing to catch their rides. We spend most of our mornings here at Emerald Fly Ash Bricks just getting things ready for the day. The fly ash gets on everything, even the ledgers on the desk, so we are always wiping things down with old rags. It is a bit of a messy business but it is what we do. The trucks come by and we have to make sure they are loaded right so nothing falls off on the bumpy roads around here. Sometimes the sun hits the front of the complex really hard in the afternoon and we have to pull the shutters halfway down just to stay cool. We mostly just talk to the drivers and the local builders who stop in to check on their orders. It’s not a fancy setup with air conditioning or anything like that. Just some chairs, a heavy desk, and the stacks of bricks out back where the space is. We’ve been in this part of town for a while and know most of the people walking past the shop. It stays busy until late evening when the bus traffic finally starts to thin out and we can head home ourselves to get some rest before doing it all again.
