Green Valley Resort

Green Valley Resort is located up on Devi Point Road in Chikhaldara. If you’ve ever been to this part of the country, you know the roads can be a bit winding and steep. We’re tucked away here and it’s usually much quieter than the towns further down the hill. We spend a lot of our time looking after the place and making sure everything is ready for whenever someone shows up. Chikhaldara has a very specific feel to it, especially when the mist comes in off the hills. It can get pretty chilly here too, so we’re often wearing extra layers while we work. We’ve been running things at Green Valley Resort for a while. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance because the weather can be tough on the buildings. We’re always fixing something or painting a wall that’s started to peel. It’s just how it is when you’re out in nature like this. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the place inside out. We mostly just walk around and check on things throughout the day. Devi Point Road is a nice walk if the weather is clear. We like being out here away from all the noise and traffic. It’s a slower pace of life, and we’ve grown to appreciate that over the years we've been here.
