We have the restaurant on one side and the bar on the other, so there is always something going on. The building on Morshi Road isn't the newest, but it holds up well enough. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We serve local food that people in this area are used to eating. It’s not about being trendy or having a menu you can't pronounce. It’s just dal, rice, and whatever else is fresh. The bar gets crowded in the evenings when people are done with their chores or their jobs. It can get a little smoky and loud, especially on weekends, but that’s the way these places usually are. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the doors in the morning and close them late at night. The staff is mostly local guys who know the streets around V M V Road like the back of their hands. If you need a place to just be yourself and not worry about being fancy, this is where you end up. We keep the water jugs full and the plates moving. It’s a simple life here. We don't try to be anything we are not.
