Balaji Cement Product

Our yard is located on Plot No-164, right on Badmera Road in the Shashi Nagar area. We mostly spend our time making different kinds of cement products, like blocks and things people need when they are building a new house. It is a big open space mostly, with plenty of grey dust and bags of material piled up high. We started out small and just kept working at it every day. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the really heavy lifting finished early in the morning. It is a lot of manual work, mixing the concrete and setting it into the molds to dry. We are not some big company with a fancy glass office or anything like that. It is just a workshop where things get built by hand. People from the neighborhood often come by and ask for a few pieces or sometimes a whole truckload for a bigger job. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck if the road is muddy after it rains, which happens a lot. We just do the work and try to keep things moving as best as we can. The gate is usually open from early morning until the sun goes down. My brother and a couple of helpers are usually around to help move the heavy stuff. We have a dog that likes to sleep in the shade near the stacks of finished blocks. It is a simple life.
