Sagar industries is located out in Ambernath East, specifically at Plot No. D-25/12 in the Addl. Anand Nagar area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s a good spot for a factory. We spend our days manufacturing various items, and the floor is usually quite loud with the sound of production. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the ceiling fans never seem to spin fast enough in the summer. We have a small corner screened off that acts as the office where the ledgers and files are kept. It’s mostly just us and the machines. We don't do much in the way of public relations or fancy brochures. People who need what we make usually find their way to us through word of mouth or by seeing our name on the gate. The area around Anand Nagar is growing, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We try to keep our area clean, but in this line of work, there’s always going to be some scrap lying around. We take our lunches together at the big wooden table in the back. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with all the noise of the machines. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in. There is no point in complicating things when the work is right in front of you.
