Pioneer Softek

We’re over in Panchkula, specifically in the Ratpur Colony area of Pinjore. Pioneer Softek is basically just a group of us who enjoy working on software problems. The office is in a part of town that’s a bit away from the main hubbub, which we actually prefer. It’s quieter and easier to focus. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose. We deal with various software development tasks, mostly for local businesses that need something specific built. There’s usually a pile of old keyboards in the corner and a few half-dead plants that we forget to water. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work correctly so we don't have to fix it later. The drive out to Pinjore is actually quite nice in the mornings. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have formal meetings; we usually just talk across the room while we’re typing. If something breaks, we fix it. If a client needs a change, we make it. It’s a very direct way of working. We’ve learned over the years that simple is usually better when it comes to software. That’s how we run the office too. Just basic desks, decent computers, and enough light to see what we’re doing. We’ve been part of the Ratpur Colony community for a while now and like it here.
