My Dollar Store

You can find us over at 9 New Partap Nagar which is right near the Radha Krishn Mandir. Being near the temple in Baldev Nagar means there is always someone walking by. My Dollar Store is a place where we keep all sorts of things on the shelves. We have boxes arriving all the time and we spend a lot of our day unpacking them. Ambala City is a good place to run a shop like this. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work but we try to keep the floors clean. The shop is not huge but we make the most of the space we have. We get all kinds of people coming in looking for household bits and pieces. Some stay for a chat while others are in a hurry. We have lived around here for a long time so we know most of the faces that come through the door. It is a simple life behind the counter. We do not have any fancy computer systems or anything like that. Just a ledger and some bags. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in after school to see what is new. We like being part of the New Partap Nagar area. It feels like home to us and we plan on staying at this spot for as long as we can. There is always something to do and we like the bustle of Baldev Nagar.
