Mayur Engineering

Our workshop, Mayur Engineering, is located out in Village Mandour along the Naryangarh Road. It’s a bit away from the main town center, which gives us a little more breathing room for the machines. We started this place because there was a need for engineering work in this area. Most of our days are spent fixing parts or fabricating bits of metal for local projects. The noise from the lathes and drills is pretty constant once we get started in the morning. It's not a shiny factory; it's a practical space where we get things done. Sometimes the floor is covered in metal shavings, and we have to spend an hour just cleaning up so we can walk around safely. Being on Naryangarh Road means we see a lot of farmers and transport guys coming through. They bring in broken equipment or ask us to make something specific that they can't find in a shop. We do our best to figure it out for them. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. We aren't a huge team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. Usually, we're wearing grease-stained clothes by noon. If you’re heading towards the village, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about us. It's a quiet life except for the machines, but we prefer it that way.
