M. S. Engineering Works

Down at number 273 in Punjabi Bagh, you’ll find M. S. Engineering Works. We are situated on Kardhan Road, and the Lokanand Mandir is just a short walk away. You can often hear the bells from the temple while we are working on machines in the shop. The workshop is usually a bit messy with metal shavings, grease, and various tools lying around on the benches. We do a lot of repair work and custom engineering, so there’s always something different to look at. It’s a hands-on kind of place. Some days we are covered in oil from head to toe, but that’s just part of the trade. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles; we’re just mechanics and engineers who know how to fix things. People from the neighborhood bring us all sorts of parts to look at. The road outside can get quite busy, especially in the evenings when people are heading to the temple. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the building shows its age a little, but it’s sturdy. We keep the doors open for the breeze, even though it brings in the dust. It’s a basic shop where we get things done properly. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room, just the workshop floor and a lot of hard work. It's a loud, busy environment but we've always liked the energy of Kardhan Road and the local community around us.
