Kashmir Surgical Works

Our workshop is at No. 1888 B / 10. It’s one of those addresses that people sometimes have trouble finding the first time they visit. We’ve been Kashmir Surgical Works for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. There’s a lot of metalwork and tools around the place because that is just the nature of what we do. It’s not a quiet job. You can hear the sounds of the street coming through the windows all day long. We keep the surgical tools organized in the back, though it feels like we’re always running out of shelf space. The floors are concrete and have some stains from over the years. It’s just a practical space for us to work. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area. Most people who come by are just here to pick something up or drop something off. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We try to keep a routine, starting early before the street gets too crowded. Kashmir Surgical Works is a small operation, really. It’s just us doing the daily tasks at 1888 B / 10. We know the local shopkeepers and they know us. It’s a neighborhood feel even though we’re doing technical work. We just keep our tools sharp and our records as tidy as possible in the small office.
