Aroma Saloon

We opened Aroma Saloon here on A M Road quite a while back. Kothamangalam is a busy place, especially around the bazaar area. Most days start early for us. We get the shop open, sweep the floor, and set out all the chairs before the first person walks in. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy when people are coming and going all day. Ernakulam gets pretty humid, so we try to keep the place feeling alright for anyone who sits down. Sometimes the traffic outside the bazaar gets really loud, but inside we just focus on what we’re doing. We see a lot of the same faces every month. People from around Kothamangalam stop by for a haircut or a quick shave while they’re out doing their marketing. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular spot where you can get your hair done and talk about whatever is happening in the news. We have some old mirrors and some newer ones, and the lighting is just what we need to see clearly. Sometimes the fans make a little noise, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and we know the neighbors well. If you’re walking down A M Road, you’ll see our sign. We usually stay open until the evening when the bazaar starts to quiet down a bit.
