Our facility is at H-550 in Phase-I of the Industrial Area. It’s a big gray building like most of the others on this street. Vls Foods Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle a lot of food products. Inside, it’s mostly stainless steel and people wearing hairnets and uniforms. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. We spend a lot of time cleaning machines and checking the temperature of the storage rooms. The noise from the big industrial fans is something you get used to after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the food we handle is okay and ready for the market. Sometimes we have a lot of overtime when a big order comes in unexpectedly. Other days, we finish early and just sit around the gate talking. The industrial area can be quite dusty, so we are always dusting off the windows and the desks. We don't have a fancy lobby with comfortable chairs. If you come to see us, you’ll probably meet us right on the floor or in the small side office. We've got a small crew of regulars who know how the machines work better than anyone. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take raw stuff, process it, and pack it into bags or boxes. It’s basic, honest work that needs to be done.
