Our factory is at Plot No. 384 in Phase 2 of the Rico Industrial Area. If you come by during the day, you will hear the machines running from all the way down the street. It is a busy place where we handle food processing and packaging. We have different sections for the raw materials and the finished goods. The floor is usually busy with workers moving pallets around or checking the seals on the bags. Being in the RIICO area means we are surrounded by other plants, so there is always a lot of movement and trucks coming in and out. The office is just a small room near the front gate where we handle the delivery notes and the staff records. It stays pretty warm in there because of the heat from the production area, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. We’ve been operating from this plot for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent making sure the production lines don't stop and that everything is packed correctly before it goes out on the trucks. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When the shifts change, the place gets even busier as people swap out and the next round of work starts. It is just a regular industrial job, focused on getting the products out the door and keeping the machinery in good shape.
