Modern Machiney Store

You can find us at 3/165 in the Kala Kuan Housing Board area of Alwar. It’s a solid location, right in the middle of a lot of other local shops and houses. Modern Machiney Store isn't some massive warehouse with robots. It’s a place where we keep our stock on sturdy shelves and try to keep track of everything in a big ledger book. The dust in Alwar can be a real pain, so we’re always wiping down the counters to keep things clean. We don't have a website or any of that high-tech stuff that people talk about these days. People just know where we are and they stop by when they need something. The shop can get a bit dark in the back, so we have to use a torch sometimes to find the right part. We’ve got a small bench where we sit and talk when things are quiet. It’s a bit of a traditional way of doing things, but it’s worked for us so far. The housing board neighborhood is quite friendly, and we know most of the people who walk past every morning. We open up early and stay until the evening light starts to fade. There’s no big corporate philosophy here. We just try to have what people are looking for and keep the place running smoothly. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels like second nature to everyone. We like it here.
