Hindustan Cement Products

Our place, Hindustan Cement Products, is right on the Delhi Jaipur Highway. We are directly opposite the Rajasthan Motel in Dughera, which is in the Behror area of Alwar. Being on the highway means there is always noise from the trucks and cars zooming past. It’s a very open space, which we need because cement products take up a lot of room. Most of the day is spent outside in the yard. It gets quite hot in the summer months, and the dust from the road and the cement is always there. We have a small cabin where we keep the books and take a break from the sun. People traveling between Delhi and Jaipur often see us as they go by. Some stop because they saw our sign and need something for their farm or house. It’s a family-run kind of setup, so there’s usually a cousin or a nephew helping with the heavy lifting. We don’t have any fancy marketing or a big sales team. It’s just us and the workers making sure the products are ready for whenever a customer shows up. Sometimes we just sit on the benches outside when the work is slow and watch the traffic go by. It’s a hard life working with heavy materials like this, but it’s what we know. The highway life is busy, but we’ve got our own rhythm out here in Behror. We just keep on going.
