Our company, Chemie Products Pvt. Ltd., is situated at Plot No. F-624 in the Khushkhera Industrial Area. Khushkhera is a bit of a drive from the main towns, so it’s a long commute for some of us every morning. The area is filled with rows and rows of similar looking industrial plots. Ours is a straightforward manufacturing shed with a small section partitioned off for the office. We don't have any decorations on the walls or fancy furniture. It’s all about function here. We spend the day monitoring the mixing tanks and making sure the chemical batches are coming out the way they should. The air inside can get quite warm because of the machinery, so we have large exhaust fans that hum all day long. Outside, the landscape is pretty dry and there isn't much shade except for what the buildings provide. We usually bring our own lunch from home and eat together in the small break area. There aren't many places to eat nearby unless you want to drive a long way. We aren't interested in fancy marketing or big presentations. We just focus on the chemistry and making sure the drums are filled and ready for the transport trucks that come by in the late afternoon. It’s just steady, daily work in a quiet industrial zone.
