Shashi Phytochemical

Out here at the Octroi Post on Old Delhi Road, things stay pretty busy because of the highway. Shashi Phytochemical is tucked away near the Js4V Mahindra Showroom, so we get a lot of noise from the cars and the big trucks passing by all day. We spend most of our time dealing with plant extracts and various chemicals that come from natural sources. It’s specialized work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature now. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it serves us well. Inside, it usually smells like a mix of dried leaves and something sharp, depending on what we are processing that week. We have a small team here. Most of us have been around for years, so we don’t need to say much to get the job done. We just come in, check the equipment, and start the day’s run. Sometimes the logistics of getting raw materials delivered to this part of the road can be a headache, especially when the traffic backs up near the post. We just deal with it as it comes. It isn’t a high-tech corporate office with glass walls; it’s a practical workspace where we focus on the stuff we’re making. We keep the registers updated and make sure the barrels are moved where they need to go. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually ready to head home. Our location makes it easy to find us.
