Saji Daniel

My name is Saji Daniel, and I run my business out of Plot No 87 in the Ambalampady area of Aluva. Specifically, we are in Kunnappillil Muvattupuzha. It’s a local operation, and I handle most of the things myself or with a little bit of help from the family. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the neighbors all know us. Aluva is a good place to be, though it can get quite humid and wet during the monsoon season. The plot is just a regular piece of land with a building where we conduct our daily work. We don't have a big sign or any fancy decorations outside. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. The work we do is pretty straightforward, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It involves a lot of regular tasks that need to be done every day to keep things moving. I spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who stop by the gate. It’s not a corporate lifestyle at all. It’s more about being part of the community here in Ambalampady and making sure we do right by the people we serve. It is a simple way of living and working that suits us just fine. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the list of things that need fixing or doing.
