Whats In City

Our office, Whats In City, is in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. We are tucked away on Sardar Patel Marg, right behind the Hdfc Bank. It’s a central location, so it's easy for people to find us once they know where the bank is. We’ve been in Civil Lines for a while. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of history. We focus on local information and what’s happening around here. The office isn't very big. It's just a few desks and some computers. We spend our time gathering details about local events and news. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just like keeping track of what’s going on in the city. Most of the time, it’s just us talking to people or looking things up. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. It's a functional space. People in Allahabad know that Civil Lines is the heart of the city, so being here makes sense for us. We don't do a lot of self-promotion. We just put out the information and let people find it. Sometimes we’re out and about in the city, and sometimes we’re just stuck in the office catching up on work. It’s an honest way to spend the day. If you’re ever walking behind the Hdfc Bank, you might see our small sign. We try to keep our ears to the ground and just report what we hear. It's simple work but we like being part of the community.
